A New Training Package is Coming for Real Estate Practice

The CPP07 training package that is currently the training requirement required for Real Estate licensing across Australia has been superseded by the CPP training package.

The website of training.gov.au shows this training as being both superseded and current which means that the current training for CPP07 package can still be trained and our current advice is this is available until 19th March 2020.

Please see detailed information here -

  • NSW Real Estate Agent licence - CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate)
  • NSW Stock and Station Agent licence - CPP40407 Certificate IV in Property Services (Stock and Station Agency)
  • NSW Business Agent licence - CPP40507 Certificate IV in Property Services (Business Broking)

As this is a recent change, NSW Fair Trading are yet to pick up this as the requirement for licence and registration training with the training requirement remaining as above. You can view this here.

What does this mean for students and agents?

Students can still confidently enrol in the current training and should endeavour to complete their course by 19th March 2020.

The College will work with you to help meet any deadlines.
