Domestic Violence &Tenancies

From 28 February 2019, new tenancy domestic violence laws improve and strengthen protections for victims of domestic violence. These laws allow a tenant to end their tenancy immediately, without penalty.

NSW Real Estate Training College is offering CPD training for property manager to keep up-to-date with the changes and new requirements.

The new legislation sets out rights or victims, co-tenants, rights and obligations of landlords and agents and the role of medical practitioners in declaring Domestic Violence victims.

For more information and completing CPD logon to the NSW Real Estate Training College NSW website.
